01

Check the flight first

Schiphol’s preparation page directs travelers to find their flight details for current gate and check-in information. Start there before choosing a parking, rail or arrival time.

02

Use a security timeslot when available

Schiphol offers a free security timeslot system. A timeslot can make the security step more predictable, but it does not replace airline check-in or bag-drop deadlines.

03

Prepare baggage and documents before arrival

The airport’s preparation hub groups hand-baggage rules, hold baggage, passports, travel documents and security information together. Reviewing those items before leaving reduces avoidable airport delays.

04

Keep travel-day information live

Schiphol is a busy hub and operational conditions change. Use the airport flight page and airline messages on travel day rather than treating a static guide as live operational data.

Official sources

The Airport Board uses airport or transport-operator sources for operational facts. Re-check time-sensitive information on travel day.
