Request help before travel
JFK’s accessibility page says travelers who need wheelchair service, guided assistance, oxygen or other support should contact their airline, travel agent or TSA Cares in advance. Airline-specific assistance remains the primary route for help through the passenger journey.
Use the airport map before arriving
JFK recommends using its website and interactive maps to locate accessible services before travel. This is especially useful when a trip involves a terminal change, a mobility device or a meeting point with family.
TSA Cares and screening support
For screening assistance, JFK links travelers to TSA Cares. The airport contact page says requests for a Passenger Support Specialist should be made ahead of travel, and gives the TSA Cares phone number for trips inside the advance-request window.
Help inside JFK
Airport Customer Experience Specialists and information centers can help with directions and airport services. If your need is airline-specific — boarding, wheelchair handling or onboard medical arrangements — keep the airline contact details available as well.
Official sources
The Airport Board uses airport or transport-operator sources for operational facts. Re-check time-sensitive information on travel day.
